Getting Started with AIpai

Think of AIpai as your creative partner, ready to help turn even the most basic ideas into fully realized projects.

1. How to Use Agent

1. Start Agent Mode

2. How to Begin

You don’t need a complete plan to start. AIpai is here to help you shape your ideas.

For example:

"I want to make a 1-minute short film inspired by the Shan Hai Jing."

"I want to create a video similar to The Matrix." These starting points will guide AIpai to help refine your ideas and develop your project step by step.

If you don’t have a specific idea, that’s fine! You can start by saying:

"I don’t have any ideas. What do you suggest?" This will likely involve a few more iterations, but AIpai will help find a creative direction for you.

3. Mastering Conversation with AIpai

AIpai will ask for feedback at every step of the process. If you’re not satisfied with something, describe your thoughts clearly.

Examples:

"I don’t think this story has enough conflict. Can we make it more intense?"

"The hero needs to be stronger."

"Shot 1 has too much going on. Can we split it up?"

"The image in Shot 1 doesn’t feel right. I want it to have a blue tone."

"In Shot 5, the character should walk to the left of the screen, not the right."

"This voice sounds too young. I need someone with more age."

The more specific your feedback, the better AIpai can understand and improve the result.

4. Reviewing the Results

The interface is split into two main sections:

Generation Results (Left Area): This includes your project overview, role map, storyboard details, and generated images, videos, and audio. Check them here to see if you’re happy with the results.

Agent Communication Area (Right Area): If you need changes, provide your feedback here. AIpai will make the adjustments based on your instructions.

You can resize these two areas by dragging the divider to adjust the workspace.

5. Mark Your Favorite Materials

When you’re happy with any generated material, mark it with a star 🌟. This will signal to AIpai that you prefer these elements, which it will prioritize in future stages of the project.

You can mark:

Character Maps

Storyboard Maps

Videos

Voiceovers

If you don’t mark anything, AIpai will automatically choose based on the project context.

6. Typical Creative Process

While AIpai offers flexibility, here’s a typical process to guide you: Determine the Production Topic Create the Project Overview Develop the Text-Based Storyboard Define Character Scenes Generate Storyboard Images Create Videos Using Existing Images Select Voiceovers Final Synthesis

2. Agent Pro Tips

1. Model Switching

Method 1: In chat, specify the model to use:

“Use Midjourney to generate the character”

“Use Kling to create the video”

Method 2: Switch to Workflow Mode to manually assign models per scene.

Image models: Midjourney, Flux, Doubao, etc. Video models: Kling, Hailuo, Vidu, PixVerse, Runway, Doubao, etc.

2. Using Veo3

Veo3 supports text-to-video only (up to 8 seconds).

Example: “Use Veo3 to generate a video based on: [your prompt]”

Note: Veo3 does not support consistent character referencing.

3. Character Consistency

If character visuals differ between scenes, tell AIpai:

“Generate Scene 5 using the same character as before.” “Make sure Scene 6 uses the same character.”

You can also upload original character reference images (e.g., custom designs, game/anime/movie IPs) and tell AIpai to use them for consistency.

To change clothing colors, use prompts like:

“Change the character’s white shirt to pink.”

4. Image Merging

Upload multiple images and type a prompt like:

“Merge the character from image 1 with the background of image 2.”

AIpai will generate a new composite image.

5. Video/Audio Analysis

Upload a video or audio file and AIpai will automatically analyze the content and provide a structured summary report. This analysis can then be applied in new projects — for example, using the extracted audio as voiceover or background music (BGM) for a new video.
